Rethink Events are delighted to announce the ten companies selected to pitch their ag and food-tech solutions at the World Agri-Tech Demo Day.
The pre-summit Demo Day, taking place in London on October 16, offers an opportunity to very early-stage, pre-revenue companies with exciting solutions in sustainable agriculture, farm management, animal health and food processing to showcase their solutions to potential investors.
The company judged to make the best pitch will be invited to present at the main World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit, taking place the following day, which attracts more than 300 agribusiness leaders from around the globe.
Selected from dozens of applicants, the winning ten companies are:
ApisProtect: Helping beekeepers prevent losses and increase productivity.
Agrando: An independent trading platform for farmers, suppliers and producers.
Agribot: Robotic tools to improve farmers’ productivity and competitiveness.
AgroNET: Turnkey IoT solutions for smart agriculture, manufacturing and cities.
BEXT360: Streamlining critical supply chains in emerging economies.
Biome Makers: Microbiological analysis for vineyards and wine-making.
Hexafly: An independent trading platform for farmers, suppliers and producers.
MicroSynbiotix: Cost-effective oral vaccines to combat infections in aquaculture.
Plantedit: Patented next-generation genome editing tools.
WeFarm: A digital information-sharing network for small-scale farmers.
“From dozens of applications, we’ve picked ten entrepreneurs who we think have the potential to disrupt the agri-tech space,” says Jennie Moss, Founder of Rethink Events. “As well as presenting at our Demo Day, all ten companies will be taking part in 1-1 meetings with potential investors and partners at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit.”
The World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit runs from October 17-18 2017 in London at the Tower Hotel Guoman. For the full programme, and to register, visit www.worldagritechinnovation.com
